Minecraftplugins&creativedesign.
Hi, I'm Araxys. I build custom Minecraft plugins and modern websites. I focus on projects that look clean, run fast, and feel good to use.
I started building Minecraft plugins when I was a teenager, mostly to fix things I didn't like on the servers I played on. Six years later it's still the part of my week I look forward to most.
Today I work with server owners and small studios to build custom plugins, gameplay systems, and the websites that go around them. Most projects are a mix of Java, Kotlin and TypeScript — whatever the job actually needs.
I like Minecraft development because the constraints are honest. Servers have to stay under a tick budget, players notice every stutter, and there's nowhere to hide behind a fancy landing page. If something is slow or clunky, people leave. That kind of feedback keeps the work grounded.
My approach is straightforward: understand what you're actually trying to build, keep the scope realistic, and ship something stable you can iterate on. I write readable code, document what matters, and stay reachable after launch.
Paper / Spigot plugins, gameplay systems, backend services, and the websites and dashboards that support them.
Small scopes, clear milestones, honest estimates. You'll always know where a project stands.
Clean code, thorough testing, plain-English updates, and support after we ship.
A few things I've built recently.
A short selection of plugin systems and websites from the last two years. Happy to share more in a call.
Umbra Core
A shared backend that lets multiple Minecraft servers behave like one. Handles cross-server chat, player data, party syncing, and quick teleports between shards.
Challenge — Keeping cross-server events under 40ms while staying stable during peak traffic.
Noctis UI
A small dark-mode component library I use across client sites. Buttons, forms, cards and motion presets built on a single set of tokens.
Challenge — Making components feel consistent without locking clients into one look.
Silvermark SMP
A set of 12 connected plugins for a survival network: custom items, progression, economy, and animated menus. Written to stay smooth with 400+ concurrent players.
Challenge — Rewriting the item system so it stopped stalling the main thread during combat.
Halcyon Studio
A case-study site for a small design studio. Scroll-driven image transitions, custom cursor, and a CMS the team can actually update on their own.
Challenge — Making the scroll animations feel smooth on lower-end laptops.
How I got here.
Started learning
First lines of Java. Broke a lot of servers figuring out how plugins actually work.
Minecraft development
Shipped my first real plugins for small networks. Learned what production means.
Advanced plugin systems
Custom item frameworks, cross-server data, and gameplay systems for 400+ concurrent players.
UI & interaction design
Started designing the websites around the plugins. Motion, typography, systems thinking.
Freelance & studio work
Working with server owners and small studios full-time. Available for select projects.
Skills, in plain terms.
A short summary of the tools and areas I work in day to day. If something you need isn't on the list, just ask.
Plugin engineering
Paper and Spigot plugins built to stay smooth under real player load.
Modern web apps
Typed React apps with a small, deliberate set of tools. Fast to ship, easy to maintain.
Interface design
Clear hierarchy, careful typography, and spacing that actually breathes.
Motion design
Transitions that guide attention without getting in the way of the content.
Backend & systems
Redis, PostgreSQL, and message queues wired together for real-time features.
Working with clients
Clear scoping, honest timelines, and steady communication from brief to launch.
What clients say.
“Araxys delivered a plugin suite that outperformed what our previous dev spent a year on.”
“The attention to detail is unusual. Everything ships polished, documented, and stable.”
“Fast, honest, and genuinely cares about the work. A rare combination.”
“Rewrote our entire economy plugin in a week. Zero regressions.”
“The site he built for us still feels new two years later.”
“Communication was refreshingly clear. Always knew where we stood.”
